The grave in the Lehi cemetery was dedicated by Max Rothe. William R. Sharp was born in Conwood, England, September 11, 1853, a son of Robert Sharp and Ellen Wanlass. Moved to Canada with his parents when 2 years old, then two years lter to Richmond, Missouri. He came to Utah in 1874 coming direct to Lehi. He married Vilate Mary Anderson of Lehi in 1876. Each year they are adding to their equipment and are able to handle goods in a high class sanitary manner. The cannery is locally owned and employs local help. Benediction. The Native Islanders will give a program of war dances, s'ngs and legends, in costume, on Tuesday, June 20, in the Lehi High School Auditorium. The affair is sponsored by the Lehi High School Alumni association and procedso f the entertainment will be used for the association work. The entertainment is reported to be very high class and entertaining. There will be between twelve and fifteen in native costumes, taking part on the program. There will also be some splendid numbers from local talent during the evening.
