A. workers and bishoprics of the Leni. Alpine and Timpanogos Stakes met at American Fork on Wednesday of last week and made ararngements for the Mutual Dell Outings for this season. It was reported that the grounls around the Dell look better than they have ever looked although they are very dry and will necessitate more work on the part of the care taker and will make an earlier opening of the Dell necessary. The Dell will open on June 11, with Lehl Stake having the first turn. This date follows the June Conference so there will be no opening institute this year. Instructions will be given at the June conference and will take the place of the Institute. The Mutual Dell Outings are draw-- ; ing larger groups each season and the ward members are looking forward to the finest outings ever held at the DellJ Lehi stake will occupy the Dell from June 11 to June 30, Inclusive. Definite dates for the Lehl Wards will be announced later. There will be no expensive improvements at the Dell this year, but a number of necessary improvements will be made for the convenience of those us ing the Dell and a few necessary repairs around the cabins for the famil ies of the ward members. Three hundred feet of new pipe line from the Dell to the spring will be put In. Workmen are at at Dell making the necessary repairs and everything will be in readiness for the opening 35c on June The annual Alpine district track and field day was held at American Fork Friday afternoon. Posture parades, junior high sports, running programs for g.'rls. and the Quadrangular meet among American Fork, Lehi, Lincoln and Pleasant Grove climaxed the day's activities. American Fork won the Junior high school track meet counting 724 mark ers; Pleasant Grove wound up la Ith 60: Lincoln was Mvir.ii niacA third with 28 points, and Leh: seven take fourth. to scored only American Fork and Lehi senior girls tied for first in the pasture pa rade. In the senior high track meet, an ambitious crew of Railsplitters from Lincoln upset the dope and copped first total.
