His death came as a shock to his family, friends and community. Mr. Walker had not been in noticeable and during the day that bad health, he died he had. been working about his home. In 1905 it was leas ed to James M. Kirkham. A year later Mr. Kirkham bought the entire plant, and during the years he owned the plant it was considerably enlarged, and in connection with the weekly the Deseret J? anner was published. In 1913 the paper was sold to the Alpine Publishing Company.
