Show Thursday, February 7, 1991 The Daily Utah Chronicle - Page Eleven ?n &m$A I Utah netter Entzel takes d on opponent top-seede- 1 University of Utah tennis player Chris Entzel went back to Minnesota expecting to play some of the best collegiate tennis players d in America. But the draw may have been more than he first-roun- expected. , Entzel, who is ranked No. 39, will face Al Parker of top-rank- ed Georgia this afternoon at the National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships in Minneapolis. Parker, a senior, won the first leg of the Collegiate Grand Slam when he claimed the Volvo Collegiate championship in November. Located at the Northwest Racquet Club, the Indoors 32-play- er tourney is the second Grand Slam event of the tennis year. Parker is definitely the most formidable figure in college tennis but Entzel has a history of rising to the level of his opponent. The last time Entzel encountered top talent in an individual tournament, he fared surprisingly well. In the III jV' V CHRONICLE PHOTOBoone J. Chen Scoring.
