ELSWOOD Sidney William Elswood, 65, of Ogden, died Tuesday morning at the Dee Hospital following a stroke. Mr. Elswood had served two terms in the Utah Legislature and was Weber County constable for 10 years. He was born Feb. 14, 1900 in Salt Lake City, a son of Sidney A. and Othelia Lewis Elswood. He resided in Tremonton at one time and was postmaster at that time. He has lived in Ogden for the past 33 years. He was married to Viola Graham in the Salt Lake LDS Tem- ple. They were later divorced. On June 4, 1943, he was married to Mabel Jackson Lowder in Sparks, Nev. He had been employed at Hill Air Force Base. He was a member of the Democratic party and a veteran of World War I.
