The annual holiday event features 200 decorated Christmas trees, Gift Boutique, Sweet Shoppe, and fine entertainment groups. "Festival of Trees" is sponsored by the Women's Endowment Committee as a benefit for the children of Primary Children's Medical Center. With a beginning in 1971 in the National Guard Armory, the event has grown to major status as an outstanding holiday event. The Christmas spirit prevails at the "Festival" as 200 trees are decorated by comp- Loo Schulz Homor Stark Daugh Funeral services for Mrs. Marianne Schulz Homer, 27, of Roosevelt, formerly of Tremonton, who was killed in an automobile accident Friday, Nov. 25, 1977, were conducted Wednesday at 1 h p.m. in the Tremonton LDS Ward Chapel. Burial in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery. Mrs. Homer was born Aug. 14, 1950, in Washington, D.C., a daughter of Orville B. and Mary Covert Schulz. She was married to Grant W. Homer on Oct. 4, 1974, in Granger. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. She was reared and educated in Logan and graduated from Logan High School. She attended Utah State University and Weber State illness. She was born Jan. 19, 1940, in Tremonton, a daughter of Edward Miller and Arvilla Stokes Stark. ' School. She was an active member of the Woodland Hills First LDS Ward and had served in the past as Junior Sunday School Coordinator and Relief Society teacher. Surviving are her husband of Woodland Hills, one son, Edward Baugh, on an LDS Mission in Portland, Ore.; her parents of Bothwell; one Stark of Ogden, and one sister, Mrs. Lurel (Maralyn) Hall of Portland, Ore. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday in the Both-we- ll LDS Chapel. Burial in the Logan City Cemetery. er. Surviving are her husband, two sons and one daughter, Robert W. Homer, Paul B. Homer, Susan Homer, all of Roosevelt; her mother of Logan. Broad participation is appropriate since Primary Children's Medical Center is the only children's facility in the Intermountain West dedicated and equipped to care for the total child. All children, regardless of race, religion or ability to pay are admitted to Primary. Funds raised by "Festival of Trees" are used to help pay for charity care provided at The public is invited to come to the "Festival". Ticket prices are $1 for adults and 50 cents for children and can be obtained from any committee member or at the Salt Palace during the "Festival". The "Festival of Trees" was originally conceived and organized by a group of Salt Lake women called the Women's Endowment Committee as a way of helping Primary Children's Hospital.
