Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Lott and family attended sacrament meeting in the Tremonton Second Ward Sunday w here the small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claire Bowcutt was blessed by her father and given the name of Amanda Lou Bowcutt. Following the meeting a dinner party was held at the Bowcutt home. In addition to the Lott family, other guests included Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bowcutt of Brigham City, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Sewell and family of Driggs, Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Bowcutt, Mr. and Mrs. Marian Cutler and family of Garland, and Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Burnett and family of Riverside. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Firth have returned after an enjoyable trip to Nauvoo where they visited Brother and Sister Jack Hardin who are serving an LDS Mission. They also visited the Carthage Jail and other historic points of interest. They report the crops are unable to be harvested due to the large amount of rainfall in that i BENNIE LAMAR FRYER, 27, was laid to rest Saturday with full military honors in the Dewey ville Cemetery. Hill Air Force Base personnel provided an honor guard on the ground while three fighter planes flew the traditional missing man formation over head. Fryer's body was recently returned by Vietnamese officials to the US. He was killed Dec. 28, bomber over Hanoi. He was born and raised in Logan, Utah. 1972, while serving as navigator of a 2 B-5- area. Spending the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. John McClellan and family, was Mrs. McClellan's sister, Miss Mary Liebelt of Salt Lake City. Other Sunday dinner guests at the McClellan home were Mrs. McClellan's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arno Liebelt of American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Rosel Zundel are visiting in Gardnerville, Nev. with their and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Steve (JaNae) Shaffer and family. Overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Afton Adams Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Davis of Rupert. Sunday they visited Mrs. DeVere Adams and family before returning home. Mrs. Rula Hess and family visited Mrs. Lavona Hess in Ogden during the week. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gam, accompanied by Mrs. Nancy McCulloch of Sunset, Mrs. Marlene Brown of Garland, Mrs. Dee Garn of Logan and Mrs. Jim Garn of Fielding, enjoyed luncheon at the Grandview Restaurant in Logan. Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Burton visited Mr. and Mrs. Harold Layton in Layton. Friday Mr. and Mrs. Rex Bowen of Salt Lake City visited Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Hales and Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Coombs. Visiting Mrs. Rachel Burton during the weekend were Miss Maurine Burton of Laketown and Miss Norma Burton of Salt Lake City. Sunday dinner guests at the Burton home were Mr. and Mrs. Todd Garbanatti and daughter, Amy of Snowville. Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Mrs, Donald Petersen, accompanied by Mrs. Marguerite Hansen of Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Christensen of Bothwell, and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Stark of Bountiful, attended funeral services for Mrs. Hansen's sister, Mrs. Franke Bean, -- held in the Third Ward chap-e- l in Sandy Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Munson attended funeral services for Mrs. Joseph (Minnie) Lossle held in the LDS Stake House in Rupert Thursday. They also visited Mrs. Munson's cousin, Fred Pack, and his wife in Paul. The Social Development Club met with Mrs. Donetta Petersen as hostess Thurs- afternoon. day The Tremonton Planning Commission will hold a planning meeting Tuesday, Nov. 15, in the Senior Citizen's Center (old McKinley School) at 7 p.m. The meeting is an extension of an effort being conducted jointly by the commission and a Weber State College planning class to create a city master plan. Special guests were Mrs. Carol Jensen and daughter, Pam of Brigham City; Mrs. Elma Petersen; Mrs. Alene Sutherland and Mrs. Opal Groth. Mrs. Sutherland read a Christmas story entitled, "A Certain Small Shepherd". Pam Jensen favored with a piano selection. Light refreshments were enjoyed. Visiting Mrs. Alene Sutherland Thursday were Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Goodsell of Newton. Saturday dinner guests at the Sutherland home were Kent Sutherland and sons, Kyle and Blair, of Ogden. The Bear River District Health Department's monthly immunization clinic will be conducted today, Nov. 10, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Health Department office in the Treuonton Civic Center, 102 S. Tremont. All immunizations will be administered. There is a small fee. . ... DeVere Adams returned home Monday after receiving care at the Tremonton hospital following a heart attack.
