She was a graduate of Box Elder High School, a member of the birthday club of Riverside, a member of the Belmont LDS Ward, served nominate candidates of their choice to be on the ASC community committee ballot, says Boyd K. Gardner. The ASC community committee election will be conducted from November .25 to December 5 by mail ballot. The six ASC communities in Box Elder County daughters: Mrs. Reed (Tho-la- ) Lowe, Grace Idaho and Mrs. Max (Mary) Adams of Tremonton; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Survivors also include two brothers and two sisters, J. Moroni Ward, Tremonton; J. Voss Ward, Riverside; as YWMIA teacher and Primary teacher. Survivors include two Mrs. Vida Howell, Pocatello, Idaho and Mrs. Irene Austin, Las Vegas, Nev. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday in the Belmont Ward in West Fielding. He was born December 3, at Kanab, Utah, the son of Joseph and Ivy Burnham Spencer. Following the death of his parents at age six, Mr. Spencer moved to Yost, Utah to make hiS home' with his uncle and aunt, Mr: and Mrs. Hazel Yates. He has resided in Yost since that time. He attended school in Yost, Utah, Box Elder High School and Utah State University. Mr. Spencer was a member of the LDS Church. He married Dorothy Sellers on October 25, 1943 at Arcadia, California. He was a veteran of World War II, having served as a captain in the U. S. Marine Corps. At the time of his death he was a director of the Raft 1920 River Electric Coop.; director ot the National Rural Electrification Coop. Assn; vice president of the Utah Cattlemen's Assn. and a past director of the National Cattlemen's Assn. He is also a past president of the Malta, Idaho Lions Club, was selected as "Rancher of the Year" for the West Box Elder Soil Conservation District; a member of the B.L.M. Advisory Board and Mayor of Yost, Utah. Surviving are his widow, Dorothy Spencer of Yost, Utah; three sons, Stanley Alan, Michael Orson and Carl Wallace Spencer, all of Yost, Utah; three daughters, Sara Jane Spencer, Dolores Spencer, both of Yost, and Mrs. Robert A. (Jo Ann) Adams, Kaysville, Utah. Also surviving are one brother, Dr. Orson B. Spencer, Price, Utah and one sister, Mrs. Scott (Ann) Christensen, Grand Junction, Colo.; mother-in-law- , Mrs. Sarah J. Bear, Jacksonville, Fla. and eight grandchildren.
