Sunday, the small son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jensen was blessed by his father in sacrament meeting and given the name of Cameron Jensen. A dinner party followed the meeting at the Jensen home. Bishop and Mrs. Ross Rudd, accompanied by Mr, and Mrs. Keith Anderson of Bothwell are spending Tuesday to Saturday of this week in Sacramento, where they will attend the open house and dedication of the Farm Credit Building in Sacramento. They will also attend the Federal Land Bank Stockholders' meetings. Monday evening Mrs. Rhoda Welling, Mrs, Madge Anderson, Mrs, Elsie Welling, Mrs. LaPriel Secrist, Mrs, Nina Lamb, Mrs. Annette Richards and Mrs. Lucille Potter enjoyed bowling at the Golden Bowl in Tremonton, after which they enjoyed a dinner party honoring Mrs. Rhoda Welling who was observing her birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Coombs, Mrs. Judy Udy and son, Brett, along with Mr. and Mrs, Bruce King of Garland attended the Intercollegiate Rodeo held at Pocatello Friday and Saturday. Cindy Coombs placed first in break-awa- y roping, and was first in goat-tyin- g named Cowgirl. Cindy is a student at Utah State University in Logan. The USU girls again won the team trophy. Mrs. Helen Jensen is reported to be feeling some better after her recent illness. Devere Harris began his career with the company on September 3, 1946, was promoted to supervisor in January 1950, General Division Manager in February 1970 and Regional Manager in April 1976. His record of accomplishments spans a period of over 30 years. His leadership, enthusiasm, and integrity have resulted in recognition year after year for his region. Devere was Man of the Year in 1952, and this year he has been selected again. The first time in company history that this honor has been given to an individual a second time. Devere has also been an active church leader, serving as Malad Stake High Public Insurance Counselor from 1953 to 1962. He was Bishop of Portage Ward from 1962 to 1969, served as Malad Stake President from 1969 to 1974 and regional representative of the Quorum of Twelve since 1974, serving two and a half years in Pocatello, Idaho and Pocatello, Idaho North regions and at the present time is serving in Burley, Idaho and Twin Falls Region with nine stakes in his area.
