The championship game deciding the senior champs is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on the unlighted Deweyville di- 4-- amond. The Explorer game will follow at 8 p.m. on the lighted diamond. At 9 p.m. Sixth Ward may possibly become involved in the circle championship pending a wjn. Then with two out, the ball was sent to Jim Poulsen at short who made a throwing error allow ing Jeppesen to score the winning run, naming Sixth as victors 6-- Art Show Slated In Tremonton City Over 35 artists are expected to display their art at the annual Tremonton City Art Show sponsored by Tremon-ton'- s recreation department. The art show is scheduled to begin Friday, August 13, and to run through Friday, August 20. The team walked off with district tournament honors recently and could head for Salina, California, if they are successful in the sectional battles. First round section action was scheduled last night. Included in the tournament will be all-stteams from Centerville, Provo and Salt Lake City. In their first game at the district tournament, the local all stars ended Bounti-ful'- s six-yeundefeated Chris mark, winning Young of Tremonton led the scorers with two home runs and gained most valuable hitter honors for the tournament with a total of four round trippers. Steve Kap of Willard was winning pitcher. Deweyville will play the winner of last night's (Wednesday) game who is either Bothwell or Second Ward. The winner was still undetermined at presstime. In the Explorer division, action will be seen tonight (Thursday) also, at Both-wel- l. The winner of Third vs Sixth will go up against Fourth at 7 p.m. If Fourth ends up victorious they will be named the tournament winner, but in case of a loss another game will be scheduled for Friday night at Deweyville. Region play is also drawing near. Divided into two teams, metro and state, the class of '76 basketball players will meet in two intrastate games; at Weber State Coll ege in Ogden, August 6 and at American Fork High School, August 7, both at 8:30 p.m. From these two between the city match-up- s and state players, the ten basketballers outstanding will be selected to meet the Arizona all stars in an inaugural contest August 13 at the University of Utah Special Events Center.
