The family has learned to appreciate the customs and food of the South. They're planning a trip back to Mississippi in the near future. "Catfish are very big in the south," where you can get tray after tray of catfish with hush puppies and french fries for a small price. Although Mrs. Rose said she's basically an inside person, her husband is an outside type, o He's "very big" on gardening sos while he, does the outside wprk, ;,,cans or freezes the produce. "We don't buy any vegetables and things out of the store. I don't think we could afford to buy..." Her husband also does gardening work on a couple of neighbor's yards for a parttime vocation. She was "very flthusiastically taking the test" when a g'l friend called her by the wrong name jvithin earshot of the '.yfe teacher. The result was I zero on the test. "I turned right found and got the same teacher the next yar,',' she recalled.
