The Channel Five production will be broadcast on Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. The group will travel to the Salt Lake station this and Saturday, however, tape the show in advance. Jelesnick is responsible for discovering the Osmonds and other successful acts and is currently searching high school and college age talent for his variety pro- fifty songs and performed in Salt Lake, American Fork and Brigham. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Rushton, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Mecham, Roosevelt; and Mrs. Carmen Wood, Tempe, Arizona and their families were together for a family party. It was in honor of Mrs. Carmen Wood. Her husband, Carmen has taken a job with a construction company in Saudia, Arabia for the next eighteen months. She and her family are looking foreward to joining him there as soon as possible. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wood joined with other members of the Wood family in Brigham Saturday for a dinner in celebration of Emma Wood's eighty fourth birthday. Emma hasn't been feeling hope she's better real soon. Congratulations to the Howell Ventures who won first place in the Garland, Utah Stake basketball tournament. The team members are Chris Fonnesbeck, Bobby Allen, Greg Grant, Mark Sorensen, Kendal Morris and Rory and Randy Payne. Last but not least their who coach, Rex Nessen really pushed the kids along. We were sorry to hear the John McAffees were moving-! He has accepted a job in Ohio. We wish them and their lovely family the very best.
