Travelers were cautious and took extra time to reach their destinations, but were rewarded with all the good home cooking that Thaalways brings. nksgiving Miss Beva Marble arrived by plane from Denver and spent the days with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Marble. They joined with the Marble family and Steve Lorin Marble for dinner. left Sunday evening Beva for the return to her home in Denver. Going away for the holiday were Dewey and Nellie Gardner. They accompanied their daughter, Mrs. Ted Macfarlane of Riverside to California to spend the time with a granddaughter, Annette. The Eldon Johnsons hosted a dinner for Mr. and Mrs. Terry Rees and Des-irof Bountiful; Mr. and Mrs. Max Dahle and family, Preston; and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rees and Rex from Benson. The Roger Mason family joined with members of the Keyes .family in Ogden for dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Knud-s- en and children came from Salt Lake way to join with Myrl and Gladys Norr and Mrs. Mary Richardson for Thursday. They remained over night and made their way home Friday. Nibley to the home of Earl and Arlene Saunders and family for Thanksgiving din- ner. Bill and Arlene Bingham and their children drove to Kaysville where they were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Nessen and family. Bruce and Sharon White and children returned home, Saturday evening, after dri-i- ng to Vernal, Wednesday. Vernal is "home town" to Bruce. They reported having rather a long, snow-filljourney home toDeweyville. Mr. and Mrs. Tod White-fo- rd had dinner prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Horace Veda Petersen, their son, Curt, Miss Sally Scot-her- n, Tremonton; and Gene Sorenson, Salt Lake City. Members of the Douglas Burbank family went to Ogden to the Spencer Ahlmer home for the big day. They were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Randy Burbank and children of Hyrum, and the Brian Burbank family. Gus Burbank spent the day in Brigham City with the Lowell Burbank family. Mrs. Venna Hess, Garland; Neil Hess, Amarillo, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Morgan and family, Brigham City; and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Perry and children gathered at the home of Myrl and Margaret Perry for Thursday dinner. Myrl and Margaret had rather an unusual experience Friday, as they were shopping in Salt Lake City. Myrl saw who he thought was his brother across the aisles in the store, and it turned out to be his brother, Dr. Norman Perry. He and his wife were up from California visiting with members of their family. So the brothers and wives had lunch together and got to spend some time visiting. The Junior Gorings prepared dinner for Mr. and Mrs. Maxine and Bill Goring, Mary, Tremonton; Mr. and Mrs. Theron AnhderandMr. and Mrs. Mark Anhder of Richmond. Mrs. Vern Schoenfeld, and her daughter, Mrs. Valerie Jensen will arrive this week from Lovelock and Reno, Nevada.
