Eight clothing and textiles students at Utah State University, including Suzanne Okada of Tremonton have theme sold bicentennial design sketches to a knitwear firm in New York City. "The knit designs using these bicentennial themes, such as the Mayflower, stagecoach, American flag, Liberty Bell, etc., are to be put into production in Hong Kong for the eventual teen and junior market in the U.S.," commented Helen Leyrer, USU clothing and ' ' Shaws, Books Three new mothers were presented a wool handmade cookshawl and a lamb book by members and officers of the Northern District Utah Wool Growers Auxiliary on May 13. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Marshall of Thatcher, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Allred of Logan and Mr. and Mrs. Ken Pat- terson Gibbons ofBrigham all received these gifts. Goodenough is happy to announce the association with him in the practice of general medicine and surgery, Dr. Nick Hagen, in his clinic in Malad beginning July 1, 1975. Honored Laura Barfuss and Denise both of Elaine Borup, among Tremonton, were at Ricks 793 students College named to the Spring semester honor roll. Students must maintain a 3.5 grade point average or above for the semester and take at least 14 credit hours to gain the honor. Thornley, of Thatcher, announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter Rebecca to Charles V. Stella, son of Mr. Charles A. Stella Lawndale, Calif,, and Mrs. Adelaide Stella, Hawthorne, Calif. The couple plans to be married June 7, in the Logan LDS Temple. A reception will be held that evening from 8 to 10 o'clock at the Bowcutt Reception Center. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. Rebecca is a graduate of Bear River high school and is attending Utah State University where she is majoring in business education. Chuck is a graduate of Hawthorne High School, and is a graduate of Utah State University in physical education and theatre arts and is working on certification in special education. They will make their home in Logan for the summer.
