Morris. Mr. and Mrs. Wynn Johi and Mrs. Esther John. The services were held in the 11th ward chapel and the burial was In the Salt Lake City cemetery. Mr. Morris was born in Portage and was an uncle of Glen and Joseph Morris and Mrs. Esther John. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cyress Gibbs accompanied by Mrs. El-l- iy Hall of Garland and Mrs. on Hansen of Tremonton went to Salt Lake Sunday, where they visited with Mr. Gibbs brother, Daoid, who is in the University insuital and is very critically ill. They also visited Mrs. Gibbs vh was at the hospital with her husuand. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Howard Facer of Murrary, came andgot Mrs. Facer's mother, Mrs. Esther John and took her to the Midiox Ranch House in Brig-ha- m City, where she was a special guest at a wedding dinner in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Rick Jeppson of Salt Lake. The new Jeppsons were married in Florida. . The dinner was hosted by the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Jeppson of Corinne. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard of Facer and Mrs. John. Mrs. John was honored as the only living grandparent of the young coaple. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nielsen, Allen and Scott Nielsenattended the basketball game at USU in Logan Monday evening. Those attending the Farm Bureau Banquet in Garland Friday evening were, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gibbs and Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Thomas. Mr. and Mrs. Wynn John and Mrs. Esther John visited in Salt Lake Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Paskette, and daughter, Lois, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Wilson, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Facer and daughter, Anitia Jeppson. Mr. and Mrs. Ora H. John were Logan visitors Tuesday. M r. and Mrs. Virgil C. Harris accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gleed and Mr. and Mrs. Lony William! of Malad, Idaho, to Logan Saturday, where they enjoyed dinner together. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Wilcox left Friday for Redding, Calif., where they plan on spending the rest of the winter. Several from the area attenden ed the funeral for Henry Sor-ens- on Wednesday. Conley, They attended sacrament meeting with the Conley's, and returned to Bountiful Sunday evening. Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Glen Morris visited in Ogden with Mrs. Morris parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hawks. President and Mrs. Devere Harris and daughter, Lori, attended sacrament meeting in the 9th ward in Logan Sundayeven-in- g where President Harris was the speaker. After the meeting they were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Cobia and family. They also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Vern Budge and family before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Wynn John visited in Malad with Mrs. John's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John J. Williams Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Devere Harris attended the National Pub'.ic Insurance convention at the Insurance office in Logan Monday. Agents of the company from Idaho, Wyoming and Utah were in attendance. Special guest was, Lon of Seattle, Woodward Wash., the superintendent ofthe agents. After the convention the group enjoyed lunch at the Blue Bird Cafe. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Brown attended the wedding of Kenneth Bennett and Kyoag Suk Kim in Tremcntox M-- s. Ben.iett is from Chung Nam, Korea. The ceremony was performed by Bishop K. H. Fridal. Kenneth is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bennett of Tremonton. Mr. and Mrs. Sharon Cummings and famfly of Lyman, Wyo., Mr. and Mrs. Brent Bennett, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Lewis Bennett, were among the wedding inne. A potluck lunch was served. The table was decorated with candles and garlands of Holly. Some musical numbers were presentedby the boys and girls of the families. Mary Jo Cobb presented a song, she was accompanied by her sister Gerilyn. Dru Rudd presented Laneil two guitar numbers. and Melinda Cobb sang a song decated to our grandmother, Maggie Ipsen. From Trip Mr. and Mrs. Le Roy Bunnell have returned homo after a two week trip. They were in St. George on Dec. 28, for the marriage of their granddaughter, Miss Ellen Foutz and Mr. David Sinquefield, in the St. George Temple. They then went to Las Vegas for the wedding reception, on Dec. 30. They stayed in Las Vegas with the three youngest children of Mr. and Mrs. Hal Foutz while they were in Miami, Fla., for an open house for the bridal couple. It was hosted by the parents of the groom. Mr. and Mrs. Bunnell report" that Las Vegas and St. George also, had unseasonably cold weather and snow which surprised the natives and delighted the children. The Bunnells spent Friday night in Salt Lake with Mrs. Bunnells sister, Mrs. R. C. Braithwaite and came home on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Popple-to- n of Wellsville visited with Jay and Helen Brown, Suiday afternoon. Mr. and M s. Don Woodward and family, Roger, Mike, Natalee, Tim and Marilee visited with the Jay Browns Sunday afternoon, Jan. 7. They had a late dinner and the afternoon was spent visiting and watching television. Samuel Keele visited with most of the people of the area, at Sunday School. Sam Is home on leave from the airforce. He holds the rank of Airman 2C. Sam leaves the 15th for a ammunitions base, about sixty miles from England. He w:ll be there for three years. Mrs. Estelle Price and sons, Cory and Mickey, and Mitz Jensen attended Sunday School. They were members of the community when growing up. It was real nice to see them. They are the daughters of Ver-n- a and the late Wendell Jensen. Merlin and Wanda Larsen traveled to Idaho for the Christmas holidays. They stayed with Blaine and Nan Mecham, a family at Mountain Home, until Tuesday after Christmas. They then traveled to Idaho Falls to stay with Mr. and Mrs. Dean Shepherd and family until they returned home on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Larsen visited at Christmas time with the Eugene Flint family. They left by airplane Wednesday for California. Kent's father, William, flew into Logan airport for them. They stayed until Saturday, Dec. 30, returning by plane. It took five hours to fly down bat only three to return. They left for Shreveport, La. Monday, Jan. 1, arriving Wednesday. After atime of skating they were treated to refreshments of scones and hot chocolate. Those who attended were Merlin and Wanda Larsen, Lillie, Sandra and Martha Marx, Jimmy and Kathy Mitchell. They were joined by Jimmy and Kathy's brothers, Ben and Kris. There has been some illness in the area. It seems to be a touch of the flu with some aches and pains and upset stomachs. Dennis and June Poulsen, and Lori Dawn, traveled to Salt Lake City to visit friends and relatives and attend Sacrament meeting there. June attended an Artex Seminar there Saturday. .
