"They are a Danish recipe for treat patties that is really popular with our family. My grandmother used to fry them, although I broil them." "When she cooked fricadillas she would grind her own meat and really make it special." Mrs. Anderson stated that her family eats mostly plain things. "We have a garden and raise our own potatoes and vegetables and then we have our own meat." Her daughter, Shelley, helps her in the kitchen often and usually mates breakfast each morning. Mrs. Anderson is active in the East Garland LDS ward. She is in the Stake Primary presidency and teaches a lesson in the ward Relief Society. The Andersons enjoy camping, skiing, and swimming. The new lieutenant was commissioned June 2, and is presently attending the Officers Training school at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Ind.
