Commissioner Caldwell's address, termed "Education for the Survival of Man," pointed up the need of Americans and peoples of all other nations to examine and plan for the future of mankind. He pointed out that education is the key to man's future and that the best investment for democracy exists in the establishment of universal education for all nations and peoples.
