Show THE LEADER. Tremonton. Utah By Mrs. Blaine Rhodes Banquet Well Attended The Stake High Priest Quorum held their annual supper Thursday night.. Warren Hansen and Paul Larson were in charge of the affair this year. The supper which featured both beef and ham as the meats were cooked by the wives of the High Priests of this ward. It was served by the husbands. One hundred seventy one people were served that night at the largest attended banquet they can remember of having. Daffodils and pussywillows were featured in the table decorations. The program was furnished by the Utah State University. Mr. and Mrs. Dan CJsen of Brigham City were Sunday visitors at the Eugene Hansen and Warren Hansen homes. Mr. and Mrs. Odell Julander and family of Ogden also called on the Eugene Hansens. All the family of Warren Hansen were home for Sunday dinner. Eugene and Jeanine and their two boys of Salt Lake City were there as were Sherma from Brigham City and Laralee from Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Harper were in Penrose Saturday afternoon where they visited with Mrs. Earl Holt. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Westover and family of Garland visited with the J. W. Rhodes family Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Holman went to Salt Lake City Monday where they met their daughter, Mrs. Ned Jackson and her son Terry who have come from Martinez, Calif., to spend a short while with the Holmans. The Howard Oyler family visited in Brigham City Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Cora Wood. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Isaacson were the only M Men and Gleaners from this ward to atand tend the annual Gleaner banquet which was held Saturday evening in Garland. President and Mrs. Potter were guests there that evening. Golden Adams was in Salt Lake City Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Larson and family of Salt Lake City called on the Paul Larson and Lewis Larson families Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Larson and three boy? were in Brigham City Monday. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Chlarson and daughter Jean and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Earl were in Brig- nnm Citv baturdav night as supper eih ts at the Bud Chlarn son home. Julie Ann was the name given to the new daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Chlarson Sunday. They are from Salt Lake City. Father Is III Mrs. Chlarson was in Brigham City to visit her father, Thomas Reynolds on Monday. He had been ill. On Tuesday she received word that he had suffered his second stroke. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Chlarson and their family formerly of Brigham City spent Monday at the Abe Chlarson home. Lee and Marie are in the process of moving to Corinne. Mr. and Mrs. Don Shaffer brought Mrs. Dora Shaffer back home Sunday after a stay with them in Salt Lake City. She is planning to keep the two smaller children here with her for a while. Mrs. Wayne Grover was in Brigham City Monday where she met her mother, Mrs. Patterson, her sister, Mrs. Junior Taylor and her Mrs. Dunne Patterson for lunch at the Tropical Cafe. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Rhodes and two daughters Elaine and ''aren were in Ogden Monday. While there they called on Mr. and Mrs. Carl I Edvalson. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Gunnell and daughter, Christine of Brigham City were Sunday dinner guests of the Sherman Oylers. Sam Bradford of Corinne was the guest of honor on Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Frank and family. It was Mr. Bradford's seventy fourth birthday anniversary. May Cornwall, Jean Frank, LaRue Munns, and LuDeano Benson are attending L.D.S. Primary conference sessions in Salt Lake City this weekend. Move To New Home Mr. and Mrs. LaVere Anderson are moving into their new home. Frank and Wilma Anderson and family will make their home in the old Anderson home. Guests over the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Abel have been Mr. and Mrs. Cartright and son Michael and Mrs. Faulks of Seattle, Wash. These people who were friends of Ralph Abel while he was in the LDS mission field there came to Utah to have Temple ordinances performed at the Logan Temple. Enjoying a day at Salt Lake City Thursday were the Bluebird girls and leaders. Linda Andreason. Linda Hunsaker and Barbara Crossen. Theola Hunsaker. Fern Andreason. and Janice Andreason visited Temple Square, LDS Tannery, Welfare Square, and the Children's Hospital. The girls were happy to be escorted around Temple Square by Tom Bradshaw. well known announcer on KSL TV. Attending Sunday meeting was Pres. Fauntleroy Hunsaker of Los Angeles, Calif. The are in Utah to visit with relatives and friends and to attend General Conference in Salt Lake City. Ruth Hunsaker and LuDeane Benson served light refreshments to the group. Beth Cutler has been president the past year. A large group enjoyed the party on Friday evening for the Elders and their wives. Jay Stokes was master of ceremonies and dance numbers were presented by Bob Udy and Claude Allred. a tap dance by the Haltiner sisters. Tremonton and a Charleston number by Miss Hunsaker and Mr. Orme of Honeyville, Stanley Stokes, Bothwell sang several numbers accompanying himself on the guitar. Games were enjoyed under the direction of Mack Hansen and Palmer Mann. A smorgasbord luncheon was also served. Charles Crossen, Harold Hansen. Pandi Pali and Frank Gardner are the presiding officers of the Quorum.
