Hodges, Logan, were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Uel Garn, last week. Mrs.. J. D. Guild Meets The Future Progress Guild met at the home of Mrs. Sara Moss Thursday evening with Mrs. Nancy Leavitt as A musical program was present ed by students at the Agricul a. club members, the program guests and Mrs. Clive Garn of Salt Lake City as a special guestt. The Club will hold their Annual Birthday Party, along with their partners at Worley's Cafe in Tremonton on April 4th. Munson Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Willard Hayward of Rupert, Ida. Mothers and Daughters Have Party Mrs. Earl Holt accompanied by Mrs. Bill Stokes, Ogden, attended a Mothers and Daughters party at the South Ogden Stake House, Sunday, where Mrs. Robert (LaRee) Whitney received her Golden Gleaner Award. Mrs. Whitney, who was stricken with polio about 18 months ago is reported to be slowly improving. Mrs. Dora Anger and daughter Linda, spent Wednesday in Salt Lake City where Mrs. Anger attended Primary Con ference. Mr. and Mrs. Wynn Hansen entertained at brunch, Sunday. Mrs. Wynn Zundel entertain ed at a party at her home Satur day evening in compliment to her little daughter, Carla, who was celebrating her 4th birthday little anniversary. Twenty friends were present and enjoy ed tasty refreshments followed by games. Larry and Terry Jensen of Ogden spent last week with their Mr. and Mrs grandparents, Andrew Jensen. Spending Sunday in Clark-sto- n were Mr. and Mrs. Emery Hess and son, Norvell. They visjted with Mrs. Hess' parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Thompson Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Earl spent Friday in Salt Lake City visiting with Mrs. Earl's father, Robert E. Davie. Mrs. Dan Garn spent Wed nesday and Thursday in Provo visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Stacey Garn. Stacey and Ada had just returned from an en to joyable vacation by plane in New York City. They visited most of the Southern States and spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. J. F. English (Tressa Uarnj in St. Petersburg, Fla. They purchased a new car in Detroia and came home by way of the coast route. Mrs. Wayne Garn spent Wed nesday and Thursday visiting with her daughter and son-i- n law, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Brown in Springville. Ralph Richards attended the funeral of Clarence Miller in Salt Lake City during the week. Mr. Miller was one of the pioneer family members of Riverside. His family was the fourth family to come to Riverside. Mr. Richards spent Friday in Ogden and the weekend in Salt Lake City with his son, Ford Richards and family and was in Logan during the week. Honor Father On Birthday Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Tingey were host and hostess to the family to honor the father the father, Alf Capener and brother, Howard Capener for their birthdays. Preston and his wife were leaving for a trip to Ohio and Detroit and planned to drive a new car home.
