Marion Summers then sang, "Ch, Dry Those Tears", which was followed by a talk by Eric Stenquist. Dr. J. C. Hayward was the next speaker. W. E. Kerr and daughter, Kathryn sang, "Invocation", and Reverend Lepper gave the Meditation. Survivors are his wife, the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Gleen (Damsel) Nelson, Bear River City, Mrs. Golden (Emerene) Anderson, Bothwell, Boyd M., Sunset, Odell V., Bear River City and Mrs. Mer; rell (Janae) Duke, Ogden. His brothers and sisters are James and Hyrum, Brigham City, Hans M.( Ogden, Ellen Sophrona Fris-biSalt Lake City and Gertrude Adele Iverson, Bear River City. There are also 14 grand children. Mr. Christensen was a High Priest in the Bear River Ward and a member of the first brass band in Bear River City, years ago. He also served as director in the Acme Water company and a term as mayor in Bear River City. He was engaged in farming in the area all his life. e, Services Held For Althea Bessinger Services were conducted at the Rogers Mortuary, Thursday, by the Reverend Edward Lepper for Mrs. Althea Buchert Bessinger, who died last Monday at the age of 48. A vocal solo, "In the Garden" was sung by Mrs. Thomas Harrison with Mrs. Thomas Matney at the piano. Reverend Lepper chose scripture from Isaiah, "40th chapter, verses 28 to 31, Mrs. Harrison then sang "The Beautiful Garden of Prayer,,. Additional services were held in San Pedro, Calif., where the body was sent for burial. Friday, when they came to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff McMurdie. They were brought from Salt Lake City 'by Bessie Hansen. The Twines are out of a group of twenty people touring Honolulu, the United States and Europe. The Farm Bureau Federation of America finds homes for them to stay in while they are on tour. During the weekend they studied methods of farming, livestock feeding and machinery at the McMurdie farm. After attending conference, Sunday morning, they left for Grand Junction, Colorado, to continue their tour. .
