Hansen, Route 1, Tremonton, Utah, recently was graduated from the engineer equipment course at The maintenance Engineer School, Fort Belvoir, Va. Hansen received training in organizational and field maintenance and repair of construction equipment. A 1954 graduate of Bear River High School, Hansen entered the Army in September 1955 and completed basic training at Fort Carson, Colo. Graduates From Naval Training Lyle D. McNeely, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil B. McNeely of Route 2, Tremonton, Utah, was scheduled to graduate April 21 from the Naval Training Center, San Diego, Calif. The exercises graduation marked the end of nine weeks of recruit training, and included a full dress parade and review before military officials and civilian dignitaries. Has Promotion Lt. Sterling S. Huish, Jr., son Fern Huish, Garland, has been promoted to rank of Captain in the Air Force. Captain Huish is stationed in Weisbaden, Germany. His wife, "the former Thera Nicholas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nicholas, Promontory, and their four children are in Germany with him. of Mrs. At Fort Lewis Pvt. Fort Lewis, Wash. Dwight E. Hansen, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Hansen, Fielding, Utah, recently was assigned to the 2d Infantry Division at Fort Lewis, Wash. The "Indianhead" division is scheduled to move to Alaska in July and August as , a part of Gyroscope, the Operationrotation Army's unit plan. Hansen, a machine gunner in the 9th Regiment's Company D, entered the Army in November 1955 and received basic training at Fort Carson. Colo. Lieutenant Petersen is a communications officer in the 96th Field Artillery Battalion's Headquarters Battery in Korea. He entered the Army in November 1954 and completed basic training at Fort Sill, Okla. Petersen arrived in Japan in May 1955. The lieutenant is a 1954 graduate of the University of Utah. The meeting was conducted by Gordell Brown, assistant county agent. The first woodwork club in Northern Box Elder County was organized to be taught by Mr. Thompson. Points on parliamentary procedure were taught while an election of officers took place. Sidney Fridal was chosen president; Stanley Thompson, vice president; and Douglas Garfield, secretary. Tim Gerrard is the song leader and Harry the reporter. The club members chose, "Sawdust Farmers" as their name. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Thompson. UL4-222- 6 did officers. The meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Jean Kay, and officers selected are Kay Waldron, president; Linda Fox-lesecretary; Colleen Woodruff song leader; Julia Ann Smith, reporter. Mothers of the girls met with them and while they discussed the 4H club work with the leaders, the girls enjoyed a ball game. The club met again last week at the home of Helen Chournos. They sang songs, and Kay Waldron, called the meeting to order. The girls then learned to darn stockings. Light refreshments were served.
