Mr. and Mrs. Earl Skinner are happy over the arrival of a little new granddaughter, bom to Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Hess, on Tuesday March 27th. Mrs. Hess was formerly Miss Joyce Skinner. The Hess's now have three little girls. Overnight guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Munson, Tuesday, were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Farnsworth, Salt Lake City. Spending the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Afton Adams and family were Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Thatcher and small daughter, Terry Lynn, Payson. Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Hess spent several days last week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Suttle-myr- e and Mr. and Mrs. Orren Evans and families in Ogden. In California Mrs. Elma Petersen is spend-- a few weeks with her children, Mr. and Mrs. Claine Petersen F. English (Tressa Gam) have.left for their home at St. Petersberg, Fla., after having spent the past two and a half months here at the borne of Mrs. English's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gam. In Jan uary .the Garns were involved in a car accident, and Mrs. English came to help care for her mother. , Mrs. Leroy Allred is spending the forepart of the week with her mother, Mrs. Peter Justen-se- n in Bountiful. Visiting at the home of Mrs. Ida Cannon and family are Mrs. Beverly Petersen and small son, David, Three Forks, Mont. n, and family in Richmond, Caiif. Mr. and Mrs, Earl Holt entertained at a family party at their home Wednesday evening in compliment to their sister, Mrs. Annie Christensen, Clarkston, Mrs. and their Irene Petersen, Ogden, who were both celebrating birthday anniversaries. Cither guests present were Mr. and Mrs. Arch Goodey, Bishop and Mrs. Ben Ravsten, Mrs. Eva Clark, Lowell Christensen, Clarkston, Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Wilcox, Ogden, and Mr. and Mrs. Noble Petersen. A huge birthday cake, beautifuly decorated, formed the centerpiece for the table. Miss Mona Archibald has left for Tooele where she will become the bride of Boyd Brown in an early April ceremony. Mona has been spending the past two months at the home of Mrs. Eliza Godfrey. sister-in-la- Visits Parents Dr. Grant Gil Smith, Pullman, Wash., arrived here this week for a short visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Smith, after which they accompanied him to Salt Lake City where they will be house guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Mac Farland and family while attending conference. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Rudd spent Easter in Logan .with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Evan Rudd and family. Mrs. Wynn Zundel entertained at a party at her home Friday afternoon in compliment to her little daughter, Carla, who was observing her third birthday anniversary. Twenty four little friends were present to enjoy an afternoon of various games followed by tasty refreshments. Packer 'were weekend guests at the home of Mrs. W. W. Bean, Salt Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Lake City. On Easter, they attended a dinner party at the Hotel Utah. They also visited at the Holy Cross Hospital with Mrs. Packer's neice, Mrs. Edwards and her baby girl.. Mrs. Edwards is the former, Miss Patti Covey and is well known in our vicinity. Come From Okinawa Lt. and Mrs. Dale Ogden and two children, who have just returned from Okinawa, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Munson last week. Mrs. Ogden Munson's neice. The is Mrs. Ogdens are now going to make their hofhe in San Francisco. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Bourne, Friday and Saturday, were Mr. and Mrs. Grant Robinson of Idaho Falls. Mrs. Leona Standing accom panied by Mrs. Lila Miller and family, Tremonton, spent Friday with Mrs. Verna Beasley and family in Ogden. , Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Udy spent Wednesday in Salt Lake City visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Jay Udy and family. Friends of Jay and Renetta will be happy to know that their little son, Wayne, who has been ill for so long with rheumatic fever is improving at this time. Mrs. Bonnie Rudd and Mrs. Clark Rudd visited in Logan last week. Mrs. M. J. Udy attended a family party at the home of her sister, Mrs. Earl Jones in Hooper last week. Bishop and Mrs. Rosel Zundel and family visited with Mrs. S. E. Zundel in Salt Lake City, Sunday evening.
