Qui) Honors Members The Birthday Club met Monday to celebrate the birthday anniversaries of Edna Larson and Lottie Potter at the Potter Iiome. The gifts were presented to Mrs. Larson by Mrs. Naomi Oyler and to Mrs. Potter by Mrs. Loda Oyler. The afternoon was spent playing Bingo with prizes. Refreshments were served by the ladies of the north, street. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Grover and family, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grover and Bud and Mr. and Mrs. Dewaine Loveuand and son were in Salt Lake City Saturday. They visited LeAnn Iverson at the L.D.S. Hospital where she recently .underwent a delicate fteart operation. They had a picnic lunch at Liberty Park and visited the Zoo. The Joe Oyler family held a Sunday evening at tfie home of Kenneth Shaffer. Supper was served on the lawn. The Shaffer family theld their reunion at the grove Saturday in which 75 participated. A part on the program wa3 furnished by each family. Games and refreshments were enjoyed, also a Cinderella play was presented by the men. Mrs. Shaffer had her cousin and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Windson of Delta as guests Sunday. They were up to visit their daughter in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Kirkham of Lakeside brought Rosernarie to the Orval Grover hojne for the school term Sunday and stayed overnight. Ronald will stay at the Jasper Shaffer home. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Anderson of Roy visited the Frank Halls Monday. , Vacation For Weekend Mr. and Mrs. Bill Potter and Sandra returned from the Labor Day weekend spent on a trip to Bryce and . Zions National Parks, Las Vegas and Hoover Dam. Yose-mit- n, er cut Winners in Beef and Dairy and Mrs. Dorris Peterson children returned during the week from a two weeks vacation trip which took them to Para-waHer brother, Dr. L. W. Sorensen took them to Ruth, Nev., where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sorensen and the Copper diggings, then on to Lake Tahoe and San Francisco where they visited Dr. and Mrs. L. W. Sorensen Jr. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Homer Kearns at e Merced, Calif., and visited Park. At Porterville they visited Mr. and Mrs. Bert Behu-miat Long Beach they saw Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Hirschi and the Knoxberry farm and other points of interest. Back at Cedar City they visited the Virgil Birds. Mrs. Annie Nielson and Mrs. Jr. Nielson and family of Idaho Falls attended the Nielson family reunion Sunday and were over night guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Holman. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Holman of Ogden were at the Holman home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Oyler and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Anderson returned Saturday from a week spent in Boise with Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Johnson and at Caldwell with Roy Jr. and family. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jensen took Mrs. Jane Isaacson to Mantua to visit Mr. and Mrs. John Isaacson and family Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Oyler and family of Perry visited Mrs. Naomi Oyler Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Harper and lone and Mrs Dale Gardner and children were Salt Lake City visitors Friday. Gaylen Grover came up from Ogden Sunday and spent Labor Day at the Mart Riser home. Mr. and Mrs. Si Lemon of Seattle, Wash., spent Tuesday and Wednesday as guests at the Louis Larson home." While here they attended the wedding of their sister, Beverly. Mrs. Nielsen, whose husband is Lt. Colonel Chase Jay Nielsen of Hyrum, has been staying with her parents while Colonel Nielsen was at Spokane, Wash., as a Judge for Strategic Air Command Bombing competition. Mrs. E. T. Hoskins spent a few days this week at Clearfield with her sister, Mrs. Fern Flint. Mrs. Gibbs Allen attended the wedding reception Saturday evening for Mrs. Russel R. Rogers. Mrs. Rogers was formerly Miss Elaine Christipherson of Malad, Idaho. Vacation At Jackson Mr. and Mrs. Eph Peterson accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Ed Isaacson on a trip, leaving Friday morning they visited Jackson Hole and enjoyed fishing and a fish fry on the stream. They were Joined for a time by Mr. and Mrs. Fred Isaacson at Jackson Lake. They also visited the Tetons, Lake Leigh and Jenny Lake. They returned by way of Kemmerer, Wyo., and south to Bear Lake.
