Show FIELDING By Florence Munson To Make Home In Oregon Mr. and Mrs. Oris Rudd and family who have been living at Monticello left Monday morning for Salem, Oregon, where they will make their future home. A party in their honor was held at the Tropical Cafe at Brigham Saturday evening. Guests attending were Mr.' and Mrs. Evan Rudd of Logan, Mrs.. Leora of Clearfield, Bob Jensen of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Rudd, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Rudd, Norman Rudd, Dee Ann Wood and the guests of honor. A lovely supper was served. The many friends of Oris and wish them success and happiness in their new venture. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Benson of Logan spent Monday with their daughter, Mrs. Don Potter and husband. Visitors at the home of Mr. Mc-Cow- Del-ph- ia and Mrs. Leo Farnsworth Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Bateman, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Turner, Mrs. Cleo Shepherd of Alphine and Mrs. Carmen Richardson of Salt Lake City. Sunday guests at the home of Mr .and Mrs. Owen Hess were Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Pruitt and family of Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Allred and family of Ogden visited with relatives here Monday. Mrs. Beverly Grill and small daughter, Shri Lynn have been spending a few days with relatives at Ogden. The men of the town helped the committee get it ready and planted the grass seed Saturday and Monday morning they spread straw over it to help keep it moist to insure germination of the seed. The Jr. Birthday Club held a joint birthday party honoring three members, Cleo Forsberg, Lola Capener, and Connie And erson at the home of Cleo Forsberg Thursday night. All members of the club except four attended and enjoyed the evening. The table was set and special numbers were placed under the plates and prizes were given for these numbers. A delicious pot luck lunch was enjoyed by the members. Birthday parties were held during the week for three nine year old boys. Larry Hirschi was honored by his mother, Mrs. Clarice Hirschi.
