Doyle Archibald of the ward bishopric conducted the service. Mr. Stander was born Feb. 29, 1868 in Brighara City, a son of Henry and Maria Hansen Stander. He was reared in Brig-haCity, and spent a fevr years at Promontory and a short time at Thomas, Idaho. He has been a resident of Bear River City m since 1893. . He married, Emma Christen-se- n in 1893. She died in 1934. Mr. Stander served as presid. ent of the Bear River City Town Board for a number of years. Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Mrs. A. J. (Ethel) Taylor, and Chester Stander, Bear Rver City; David Stander, Tremonton and Mrs. Alice Stocks, Pocatello, Idaho; 19 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; two half brothers and two half sisters. Music for the funeral service was furnished by the ward choir for the first and closing numbers, by Florence Gardner and Dorthy Jeppson whot sang a duet and by Lucille Swenson and Marguerite Kirkham who played a violin duet. Prayers were offered by Edwin Stenquist and Willard Anderson and speakers were Clifford Jensen, Ace J. Taylor, Moroni Mortensen and Mr. Archibald. Burial was in the Bear River Cemetery by Rogers Mortuary, after dedication of the grave by Albert Thorson. A. Joseph Packer, Wife Succumb Nine Days Apart Jensen of Independence, Ore.
