Flying in from San Francisco for a two weeks visit with relatives and friends are Mr. and Mrs. Russ Lund and children. The Lunds were staying several days this week with Mr. and Mrs. Jay Norr. Mrs. Lund and Mrs. Norr are sisters. Ruth Cannon and her daughter, JoAnn, were Monday visitors in Ogden. Ready Booth Fair It's time once more and ladies in our town of a group are busily working on plans for a display booth. Virginia Blackham, chairman, has chosen Marjorie Burbank, Nola Norr, June Marble and Alene Fryer to assist her with this project. They will be ably assisted by Town Board Members, Horace Barnard and Gus Burbank. Putting the ordinary routine of daily living behind are Mar. garet and Myrl Perry. They and their children, Marsha, Micheal and Mary left Tuesday for a drive to California. Besides seeing places of interest, they will visit with Dr. and Mrs. Norman Perry and family. Members' of the Joseph I Dewey family gathered together Sunday at Ideal Beach, Bear Lake, for their reunion. The girls were accompanied on their outing by their leader Patricia Eliason and Mrs. DeEsta Samp son, They returned home Thurs day evening. Mrs. Rennis Larkin was host ess to members of the Frienda Club at her home on Thursday evening with Mrs. Mattie Nel son as Mrs. Rose Ward and Mrs. Erma Sorenson were honored guests. A delicious luncheon was served to seven members and Mrs. Thelma Ken. ner of Modesto, Calif., was a special guest. Mr. and Mrs. Elliott Collins and children of Salt Lake City visited Tuesday and Wednesday of last week with Mr. and Mrs Dan Hickman and family.. Mrs. Collins is Mrs. Hickman's niece. Gloria Hurd came up from Salt Lake City to spend Sunday with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Allred of Ogden and their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Allred of Pueblo, Colo., called at the the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dan lickman Monday morning. Mrs. Guy Allred is Mrs. Hickman's sister. Monday the girls enjoyed a trip to the "City of Rocks." Mrs. Leola Hurd and Mrs, Naomi Garbanatl accom panied the girls. Steak Fry Monday, members of the Frienda Club enjoyed a steak fry in Logan Canyon. After the fry the ladies attended the show 'Gone with the Wind" in Logan. Those who attended were Mrs. Ella Talbot, Mrs. Effie Showell, Mrs. Mary Showell, Mrs, Lola Eliason, Mrs. Grace Anderson Mrs, Helen Anderson and Mrs. Ada Pratt. On Leave Joe Anderson came home from San Diego, Calif., where he has just finished Boot Train ing with the US. Navy. Joe will return to San Diego after a fourteen day leave. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Anderson. Mrs. Laura Thomas and son Bruce, Mrs. Alene Thomas and daughter, all of Dillon Mont. Shela Newman of New Dale, Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. John Neal of Tremonton visited with Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Cutler and Mr and Mrs. George Garbanati. The families gathered at the Doyle Cutler home and enjoyed a delicious chicken dinner. Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Nelson Jr. were in Salt Lake City Friday and Saturday. Mrs. Nelson re mained with their daughter Beverly, who underwent a serious operation. Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Arbon and family of Riverside, Calif., are visiting with relatives.
