ITdy Celebration Successful Friday was home celebration. The oarade was made up of the colors as carried by the boy scouts, floats from different organizations in Riverside, i leia-inand Plymouth, of boys and girls dressed up in costumes, decorated doll buggies and bikes and a number of horseback riders. The queen of the Plymouth rodeo, Mrs. Doug Poche, and one of her attendants, Mrs. Keith Coombs, with many other riders, helped make the parade successful. The program was followed by lunch time and everything for a good picnic lunch was available o nthe grounds. The children's sports were followed by a ball game between Riverside and Fielding, which was won by the home team. Fire works made a fitting climax to the day's events. The M.I.A. deserves a lot of credit for the success of the day. Mrs. Agnes Burnett was in visiting Farmington Sunday friends. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Richins and son of Grouse Creek spent the week end with Mr. and Tho rplobration Thursday in Ogden and Farm ington. LaMAR CAPENER IN KOREA Private La Mar Captner has landed in Korea. He has been transferred into the field artillery close to the front lines. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Hales and family, accompanied by Gary Giles and Janeal Forsoerg were at Lagoon Sunday. Lola Hales, who joined them returned to Salt Lake City Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Buxton and two children of Midvale visited Sunday afternoon yith Mr and Mrs. Joseph Forsberg. Mr. and Mrs. Voss Ward and children spent Sunday at Lagoon. Miss Kathleen Francisco of Montgomery, Alabama spent a few days with her cousin Carolyn Hales. ON VISIT FROM f.UAM Guests at the nome of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Ward are Mr. and Mrs. Odell S. Thompson (Edna May Ward) and four children, who arrived Saturday from Guam where they hive been for two and a half years. They stopped for a short stay in Hawaii, and will remain in the States until mid August when they will return to Guam to make their home indefinitely. Everything that was in the trunk of their car was stolen, while the car was parked by their house. The Bee Hive group, under the direction of their leader, Bertha Gardner, enjoyed a party at Crystal Spring last Tuesday evening. PRIMARY ASSISTS ON BUILDING University of Utah The Primary officers and SUMMER FESTIVAL Teachers met Thursday evenpresents ing at the home of President John Druarjr, Beverly Silla, Gramt Marguerite Peterson to plan Garmell their late summer and early im fall activities. The Primary is actively participating in the Ward building program. Over $40.00 has been collected the past few weeks to pay for bricks in the construction. A scrap iron drive is planned for the latter part of this week JULY 1518 under the direstion of the Primary. She now is feeling better and would enjoy visits from her friends.
