IN OGDEN HOSPITAL Mr. and Mrs. Henry Roderick went to Ogden Sunday to see Henry's mother, Mrs. Isaac Roderick who is receiving treatment at the Dee hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Loyal G. Harris and son Stephen and daughter Kathleen left Monday for a vacation trip to Canada. Lee Roy Pettingill, who is stationed in San Francisco with the Navy, was the weekend guest of Carol Harris. Miss June Gibbs of Kaysville spent from Friday until Monday with her parents here. Mrs. Nancy Clegg and family arrived home Saturday after ir spending several weeks Orem, Utah at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Clegg. Mr. and Mrs. Devere Harris and family spent the holiday weekend at Cub River. Mr. and Mrs. Oran Parkinson left Tuesday on a vacation trip to Southern Utah. Walter, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Morris received several days treatment at the Valley hospital this week. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Hall and family of Ogden visited Monday with Kay's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Hall. Mrs. Rose Harris and son Clinton returned home Saturday after several week's visit in San Francisco, California with Mrs. Harris' daughters. Mr. and Mrs. John B. Allen arrived home after a trip to Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Hall went to Ogden Monday to taki L;aac Roderick, son of Deon and Mrs. Bertha Johnson of Thatcher to see Mrs. Roderick, who is in the hospital there. R. Howell, Mrs. Margaret who has been in the Oneida hospital for some time was taken to the home of her and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Morgan in Malad. Mrs. J. C. Gibbs, Mrs. Margaret Knudsen, Nassie Moon, Eliza Knudsen and Mrs. Bert Hoskins went to St. Anthony, Raymond and daughter Brenda and Mary Castleton of Garland were Ogden visitors Wednesday. Mrs. Bob Erickson and son of Logan visited Monday with Mr. and Mrs. James Howell. Mrs. Virgil Hansen and daughter Carol, Mrs. Nellie Ree, Mrs. Reid Harris and Sonja Reis of Malad were Ogjden visitors Tues" day. Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Hoskins visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Conger at Tremontjn Saturday. Snovwille Mrs. Christine Peterson Hiiro1 Family Outing Held The William Hurd family held their annual family outing, leaving Friday afternoon. They enjoyed a swim at Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. They spent the 4th of July in Montpelier, Idaho, where they had lunch, after which they enjoyed a program and games. In the evening there was a wennier roast. Sunday they enjoyed a trip to Lakota, Bear Lake, Idaho. On their return home they stopped in Logan canyon for lunch, and had reorganization of officers. Tom Teeters is now president, Iris Hurd vice president, and Jay Cutler secretary. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. William Hurd of Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Teeter and family of Malad. Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Fonnesbeck and family of Howell, Mr. and Mrs. Gwen Hurd and son, and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Cutler and sons of Snow-villUtah. Beverly Nelson spent the 4th of July weekend in Salt Lake City with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Hurd and family were in Salt Lake City Friday and Saturday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. John Pike and family. They enjoyed a picnic at Liberty park and a visit to the zoo. Mr .and Mrs. D. G. Nelson Jr. were in Cody, Wyoming four days last week to visit with their son D. G. Ill and family. Beverly returned home with them after a two week visit. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Talbot and family spent the 4th of July in Weber canyon in company with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Talbot. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hurd and family enjoyed the weekend in Logan canyon. RETURNS TO BASE Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Hansen left Sunday for Lowry Air Base near Denver, Colorado where Darrell is to report back for duty. He has spent a month leave visiting friends and relatives after spending a year in Japan and Korea. The Ray Hansen family spent the 4th in Logan canyon and Bear Lake. Miss Luella Romer of Salt Lake City spent the holiday weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Romer. Route 1, Tremonton, Utah, recently arrived in Alaska for duty with the 4th regimental Combat Team at Ladd Air Force Base. Private Woodruff was last stationed at Camp Pickett, Va., where he received basic training.
