"The land is required by law, and must be filed if all or part of the land bought, sold, or on which the title is transferred to another person is agricultural," Chad Bybee said. Failure to report could result in a civil penalty of up to 25 percent of the fair market value of the interests held in the agricultural land. As of 1 23 1 92, foreign investors have reported owning 14.5 million acres of agricultural land in the United States, and 46,973 acres in Utah. For reporting purposes, agricultural land is any tract of more than 10 acres in the aggregate now in farming, ranching, forestry, or timber production. This includes land in agricultural use when purchased, as well as land later converted to agricultural use. "Foreigners who own or have an interest in 1 0 acres or less in the aggregate do not need to report unless annual proceeds from the sale of agricultural products grown on these acres exceed $ 1 ,000. ASCS is responsible for monitorhow much agricultural land is ing owned or controlled by foreign or interests. m 1IMJtPrtt0K it SSSS Get $300 Of Free Clothing And Accessories When You Buy A New Polaris Before Sept. 30. Mrs. Mae White recalled that her mother ran a boarding house at the time and boarded two of the lawyers involved in the second trial. Since it was necessary to have a special pass in order to witness the proceedings, the lawyers provided Mrs. White's mother with one which enabled her to attend sessions of the trial, which she said took place in the Thompson Hall. 1 BONUS-purcha- se PRE-SAL- E y RESTLESS HEART Country JUNIOR LIVESTOCK AUCTION!
