Steve Hutchings then scored for Beaver followed by Bryan Wood. Both teams had a slow start as the Beavers threw the ball away while the Bobcats traveled. The first period ended 14-- 8 Beaver with Steve Hutchings hitting for eight of those while Bryan Wood gathered five rebounds. with Steve adding another two to start, but as the clock ran down to 3:20, the Bobcats had pulled to Beaver and a within three, 20-1- 7 time out. A couple of fouls and Hutchings gathered two from the foul line. Then Thane Marshall hit from outside. Chad Limb was heard from, getting two inside and one from the foul line. Bryan Wood ended the half on an inside Iayup 1 Beavers. Steve and it was Hutchings accounting for 16 points. The second half began with the Bobcats Jody Davis and Brinkerhoff getting two each very quickly and cutting the Beaver lead.
