BEAVER, UTAH 84713 - J, , 5V -- college credit for what COME SEE THE BOISE CASCADE HOMES started to talk to her and they became good friends. He asked her to go to a show and then a dance. The show at that time cost 10 cents a ticket. They had thrillers on two nights a week. It was Buck Rogers or some kind of cowboy show, so they went whenever they could get a dime. Most of them were continued and at the end of the show they would draw on a lucky ticket and give prizes but grandma never won. Grandma and grandpa went together for four years before they were married. They didn't have a reception but had a shower at great grandma Thurza's house. The neighbors came and brought gifts. It was a happy and wonderful day. They lived at great grandma Thurza's house for three weeks until they found a two room apartment. They moved to three different houses before building their home but have always lived in Richfield, Utah. Grandma and grandpa had eight children. My mother, Nella Black was the third child. Their 6th child died of a heart ailment when she was &Vi months old. That was a sad time for them. Grandma helped grandpa milk cows for the church dairy for 17'j years and went to work at the Sevier Valley Hospital in Richfield when her youngest son went on a mission. She will retire this year. I love to go to my grandma's house to stay over night and to visit. She always has ice cream for us. She is such a good grandma and I love her very much.
