Pen has Magic Feed The rangers of the Cache National Forest- - in cooperation with S land owners, county fire departments, state highway supervisors and other agencies interested in preventing and suppressing brush, grass and timber fires are now conducting fire suppression training meetings on the ranger districts of the forest in preparation for the anticipated dry season of the next few months. During the past week meetings have been held in Weber County on Friday, the 21st, a meeting was held in the fire hall in Logan for Cache County and the same day a training meeting was held on the Emigration Canyon sumit for Franklin and Bear Lake J Counties. On June 24 and 25 the USAC forestry school students received training at the Tony Grove summer school in Logan Canyon. In these meetings special emphasis is placed on prompt reporting of fires, law enforcement since setting of fires is in violation of the Utah State fire law, and the best methods in putting out fires under the various conditions fires occur.
