Miss LaVaun Tolman is spending a few days visiting in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Wallace and family of Salt Lake City, spent the holidays at the home of Mrs. Wallace mother, Mrs. T. V. Summers. Friday evening a children's dance was held at the ward halL The hall was decorated in Christmas colors and lighted Christmas tree. The early part of the evening was spent in playing games and then Santa aDDeared and presented the boys and girls with a bag of nuts and candy. Mrs. C. W. Summers and son, Lowell, and daughter Phyllis were in Salt Lake Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Carlvl Antorenn spent Christmas day in Mantua with Mr. Nelsen. Miss Margaret Potter entertained for her Sunday school class at her home Thursday evening. Delos Adams returned Friday even ing from a pleasant visit with relatives and friends in Pleasant Grove. The annual ward Christmas party was held Christmas eve with a goodly representation of the ward members present. The Sunday school presented a very interesting Christmas program last Sunday morning instead of the regu lar Sunday school class work. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sorensen had as their Saturday night guests, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Stewart. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Sorensen accompanied them to Portage where they visited with Mrs. Frances Allen, mother of the two ladies. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Grover of Logan were guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette Grover during the holi day season. Mrs. John Oyler, Jr., visited with relatives in Salt Lake City and Park City for several days returning home Monday evening from American Fork canyon where they have been working the past month or so. i GARLAND Mrs. Geo. Frona Cates, received a badly bruised left leg Wednesday morning, when he slipped and fell from the running board of his mother's automobile, which she was driving. He was taken to the. Valley Hospital in Tremonton where it was found no bones were broken but was cut and bruised. He is around on, a pair of crutches. Following the program, a children's dance was enjoyed at which time Santa Claus appeared and presented each child with a bag of candy an nuts.
