Austin Nish and Ezra Mason made a business trip to Ogden Tuesday of last week. Mrs. M. P. Potter has been on the sick list during the week but is improving at this time. Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Mason and Mr. and Mrs. David T. Burnett were visiting in Malad last week. Announcement is made of the marriage of Joan Barlow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Israel Barlow of Salt Lake City, and Wayne Hess, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. A. Hess of this place. The marriage was performed at the home of the bride Saturday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. A. Hess and two of their children attended the wedding. Mr .Hess has been stationed at Fort Douglas for the past year. The will make their home in Salt Lake City. The descendants of Wm. Archibald held their annual reunion here Saturday. Ice cream and cakes were served. Mrs. Clarence Spraker who has been visiting here with her mother, Mrs. Janet Pierson during the week end left by stage for her home in Ab erdeen, Idaho Sunday of this week. The ball game played here Saturday afternoon was a real game and was played with the Fielding players. The score being 2 to 3 in favor of the Plymouth boys. This is the fifth game that has been played by our boys in the North Box Elder League coming out victorious in all of them. Mrs. Hunsaker gave a talk Sunday of her missionary experience in Texas. Miss Loraine Wright of Ogden, is visiting her grandfather and relatives here during the week.
