Mrs. Louis Germer entertained relatives from Wells, Nevada, last' week. A shower was given Mr and Mrs. Horace Dewey at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph I. Dewey Saturday evening. Relatives from American Falls, visited with Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Snow on Saturday. Mrs. Brown of Lost River and Mrs. Hans Knudson of Portage, were calling on friends here on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Grant and children of Ogden, expect to spend the summer months here at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Thorsen. Alice Wheatley spent the weekend with friends at Weston, Idaho. Francis Cook of Ogden, has spent two weeks here with friends and his sister ,Mrs. Victor Burbank. Edna Joyce Thorsen spent the week with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Hoist of Brigham City. Mr. and Mrs. John Barnard of Fillmore visited over the week end with Mrs. Barnard's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Abbott. Mr. Barnard will attend classes in agriculture at the U. S. A. C. at Logan for two weeks and Mrs. Barnard will stay with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. E L. Tolman and son Kieth, of Nampa, Idaho, visited Sunday and Monday at the home of O. A .Seager. Mr .and Mrs. Lawrence Checketts and two sons of Salt Lake City, spent the week end with Mrs. Charles Peterson and family. Mrs. O. A Seager, Mr. and Mrs. E. L .Tolman and son and Mrs. Maudell Burke visited Monday with Mr .and Mrs. Zelph Erickson, of Mantua. Mr. and Mrs. George Beal, Mrs. Dot Fridal and Mrs. P. E. Ault were those who attended the luncheon given by the Retail Merchants of Ogden at the Ben Lomond hotel last Thursday Miss Catherine Abbott was hostess at a Kitchen shower for Miss Rowane 4-- H Mrs. Marion G. Perry. Laree Barnard and Norma Hansen attended a shower in honor of Mi's. Rowaine McFarland, given by Kather-y- n Abbott ,at her home at Tremon-toFriday. Mrs. Louis Germer and Mrs. N. P. Marble visited at Tremonton Relief Society on Tuesday. Mrs. Lizzie Harwood and son, visited relatives here, returning to their home in Ogden on Sunday. Mrs. Ethel Jensen was a guest of Mrs. C. P.
