Miss Mildred Stone went to Salt Lake City Tuesday to enroll at the U. of U. Mrs. Wm. Sandal entertained the L. O. H. club, last Wednesday afternoon, "500" was played, with Mrs. Irwin Morgan, wining high score and Mrs. Rudy Miller, low score. Mrs. W. W. Shuman and mother, Mrs. A. L. Heed, Mrs. P. E. Ault, and Mrs. D. W. Jenkins, spent Thursday and Friday in Ogden, attending the 40th annual state W. C. T. U. Convention. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schenkel enjoyed a vacation at Lava Hot Springs, the past week. Paul Heitz and Philip Getz were in Brigham on business Monday. Dr. and Mrs. Ezra Nebeker were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. .S. A. Bjorn. Detroit, Michigan. Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Nish of Plymouth, were guests of Mr. and Mrs, Reed Giles, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Taylor and son spent Saturday and Sunday in Burley, Idaho. A very pleasant social affair of the week, was the silver tea given at the home of Mrs. Myran Goss, with Mrs. C. Tallman and Mrs. Lewis Brenkman assisting hostesses. A delicious tray luncheon was served at 4 o'clock. Rev. J. Hendricks and family of Idaho, a former Baptist pastor of Tremonton Baptist church, were visiting old friends in Tremonton and vicinity the last week. They were enroute ' south to visit relatives in Georgia. Elias and. Bertha Landvatter entertained the Epworth League at their home last Friday night. FACULTY LADIES MEET The Ladies Faculty Club of the B?ar River High iSchool met Thursday at the home of Mrs. Mark Nichols for the first meeting of the season.
