Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Hone and son Deane, former residents of Tremonton now of Salt Lake City, were greeting old friends, Friday and attended the County Fair. Mrs. A. E. Samuelson of Bountiful, was a Tremonton visitor Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. George Cropley were calling on relatives in Corinne, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Hoggan and daughter Lola, of Burley, stopped in Tremonton enroute to Salt Lake City, where Lola will enroll in a business college. Mr. and Mrs. Hansen of Brigham City were guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Christensen, Saturday and also visited the County Fair. Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Shaw and Mrs. Sarah Hadley, were Corinne visitors, Sunday. Mrs. Jean Williams and children of Ogden, spent Saturday and Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. N. Cole. Filburn Ogden and Ralph Rosebury of Helper, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Winchester, Saturday and Sun, day. Many members of the local W. C. T. U. are planning to attend State W. C4 T. U. convention held in Ogden Thursday and Friday. Edwin Lovejoy enroute to his home in Missouri, after a month's visit at Shoshone. Idaho, stopped in Tremon- 'ton, Wednesday evening to visit his! sister, Mrs. Sarah Hadley. Mr. and Mrs. James Morgan left Sunday for Salt Lake City after a week's visit in Tremonton. Tuesday evening a very pleasant surprise was given Mrs. Mayme Gor-rinby a number of her friends, in honor of her birthday. Mrs. Gorringe, as yet, has not volunteered any information as to which birthday she was celebrating. A delightful waffle supper was served to sixteen guests. Mrs. Gorringe was the recipient of many beautiful gifts. When a landowner has one : or more tenants, renters, croppers, or managers, the land operated by';' each is considered "farm."
