George Miller, Jr., attended a party at the Thuerer home at Tremonton on Saturday evening. Miss Evelyn Miller, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Miller and Mr. Howard Wadsworth of Magna, were married in Ogden on Tuesday. Their many friends wish them much joy and happiness. Mrs. Alfred Stokes and daughters went to Salt Lake to visi twith her sister, Mrs. Leslie Call. Miss Helen Granger, spent the week end wtih her parents, Mr. and Mrs, Harmon Granger. Mr. and Mr3. Dr. Odeen Luke, after attending the footabll game at Ogden Friday went to Marysville and on Sunday morning, accompanied by his brother-in-laPaul Anderson, started out on a hunt for deer. They got one each, w, the kill of the doctor, being a fine buck, weighting 260 pounds, which he brought home Thursday. Mrs. Otto Schenkel, who has been seriously ill for some weeks, has so far recovered to be about again. Mr. and Mrs, Irvin Fryer (Miss Vena Cooke) of Ogden are announcing the arrival of a boy, Monday at the Dee Hospital. In honor of her son Jack's birthday, Mrs. Ray Holdaway entertained a few of his friends at a birthday party . Monday evening. A. Seager. Mrs. Rhea Toen, of Grouse Creek, has been visiting for a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Newton. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Wright and daughter, of Salt Lake City, were the guests of their father K. H. Fridal, Sr., and sister Miss Mae Fridal last Sunday. Mr. Orlin Hansen of Los Angeles, visited his sister, Mrs. K. H. Fridal, Jr. and family, last .Tuesday. Mr. Hansen has been visiting relatives here for the past ten days. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Auderson, were in Salt Lake City last Sunday, visit ing their son Elmer, who recently underwent an operation ot the L. D. S. hospital. They report their son as recovering rapidly. Mrs. Ira Fridal was a guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Merril of Brigham City Mrs. Charles Garfield has had the pleasure of a visit of her father, Mason Clayton and aunt Mrs. Annie Clayton, of Payson, the past week. Miss Maudell Seager attended the U. E. A. Convention at Salt Lake City last week, and while returning Sun day evening, in company with Mr. and Mrs, Geo. O. Nye, and daughter Cleo, afW a cousin, and Miss Phebe Jensen of Garland, were struck by another car that caused an accident, in which all the occupants of their car received cuts and bruises. No one was serious ly injured. Paul Newton, of Lucine is home for week keeping his father Ted New ton, in harvesting his beets. Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Childs of Salt Lake City are spending a few days with their mother, Mrs. L. E. Abbott Emerson Abbott, who is attending the Utah State Agricultural College, at Logan, spent the week-en- d with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Abbott. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Peterson and Mrs. J. F. Cunnnigham, motored to Logan Sunday. Mrs. Cunningham returned to her home after a week's visit following the automobile accident in which she was injured. Mrs. Carl Peterson of Providence is spendnig a week at the home of Chas Peterson and family. Mrs. Ted Newton was an Ogden visitor last Monday.
