The employee gets it, spends it with local merchants, where possible and they in turn pay it out as salaries. The employee banks part of it and the money is invested in substantiol enterprises at home, in turn giving employment to other employees who come here to take their places in the new industries. To glance back a short time ago. Tremonton had none of the modern improvements, such as good drinking water, sewer system, electric lights, cement walks or any pavement. The loyalty of the citizens in supporting their home town made it possible to carry larger and better stocks of merchandise and to build larger and better buildings. This in turn called for better homes and the city received more taxes from all these improvements, enabling them to make our city more attractive. This naturally brought us new enterprises, among them a canning factory, a creamery, an egg grading station, thus giving the farmer a better market for his product. When making your purchase demand home products. One of the first - qualifications necessary for growth is knowledge of growth. It may grow all around you, invisible, because you are not strickly a part of it. Becoming identified with men and agencies that are promoting and largely responsible for the growth, will give you the vision to see arid appreciate developments that are being made. Self interests asks and community interests demands that we continue to grow and develop. The citizens of Bear River Valley should join hands to get for this and future generations the things that we need and will still continue to need until we get them.
