Show Thursday, August 27, 1970 THE BEAVER (Utah) PRESS Fish and Game Notes COMBINATION WATERFOWL SEASON SET Duck hunters have a green on an October 3 opening of Utah's waterfowl season, but must hold off on geese for three more weeks. Recent decisions by the Fish and Game Board open Utah's 1970 general waterfowl hunt at noon October 3 and close it 93 days later on January 3, 1971. Goose hunters must hold fire until October 24 this year in all areas of Utah except Daggett County which opens for geese November 14. December 20th marks the close of the goose shoot in all parts of Utah. Duck limits will be six In the daily bag and 12 in possession with no restriction on any species. Goose limits remain unchanged from last year. A daily bag f 6 geese may not include more than two of the dark species. The season limit of eight Canada geese remains.
