Bea-tifflowers grow along the roadside make it interesting to me lots of rhododendroms of every color. In Redding we could see snow capped MU Shasta. We thAn went back into the fruit, nut and dairy towns like Red Bluff, Los Molinos, we learned their history. Chico is an old farming town. From the Oroville Reservoir they get the water for the rice fields. I didn't know so much rice was grown in this country. Oroville Dam is the dam in the largest man-mad- e VS. made from rocks from the gold dredge tailings fitted together with clay . At Yuba City we saw where they had the big flood.
