Allen is leaving for a mission to Australia, February 4th. Kirk lias purchased the Hal Cabins and is spending the weekend :naking improvements on the place. Mr George Williamseh, son of Mr. and Mrs. William (Hal Williamsen of Paragonah and Miss Linda Grant, daughter of Glen Grant of Cedar City were field, had their home in Wellington, Utah burn to the ground last week. They are spending the winter here and the children are attending the Beaver schools. Mrs. Morton (Lois) Smith is in Granger, Utah assisting her daughter and family, Mr and Mrs Ray Bess. Diane has been seriously ill but is improving now. Mr. and Mrs. Hal (Gwen) Lund are spending the weekend in Salt Lake on business. They will also visit their daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Pat Yardley in Provo. John Oakden and daughter, Ann spent the day Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. StanOakden and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Paice son-in-la- Kathleen Farnsworth, who is visiting her children in California and Arizona wrote to say she had a delightful month in California and is now enjoying the sunshine in Arizona. She enjoys reading the Press and wants us to continue sending it until she returns in February recently was the top honor student at Mesa High School, where he is a Junior. He has a perfect .7 average and is taking accelerated classes in English, Math, science and history. Paul ranks first, scholastically, in the Junior Class and is a member of the Junior Class council, Varsity Marching Band, Boys League, and is vice president of National Honor Society. The check is from 83 March of Dimes County Chapters in Bernolfo, Jr., State March of Dimes Chairman; Dr. Garth Myers, Center Director; Mrs. Cre Evans and Mrs. Robert G. Utah, Idaho, Nevada and Wyoming, and it represents the completion of the total for 1969-7- 0 of $44,333.00. The money will go to the March of Dimes Blake, State March of Dimes Volunteer Advisors; and Mr. Kenneth Johnson, Primary Hos- pital Administrator. Dalton, son of Ambrose and Bertha Dalton of Mesa, Arizona, CHASE'S AG STORE WEEK-EN- of Marty Mim Mack, 8, son Mr. and Mrs. William Mim Mack of Santa Clara, California, represents the 250,000 American children born with birth defects each year. He was born without arms and his left leg is three inches shorter than his fathright.
