Since polio has become virtually conquered, The March of Dimes has devoted itself to research and treatment of birth defects. Again this year the residents of Beaver will have the opportunity of contributing to the treatment of children now suffering from birth defects and the eradication of this dreaded threat to babies to be born in the future. The annual 'Mothers March' will br conducted in Beaver Valley on Monday and Tues. January 29 and 30, at 6:30 p.m. The town siren will be sounded at those times to help remind us. A marcher will call at each heme. Be ready with your contribution and please be generous, both to the volunteer marching mothers and to all other March of Dimes fund raising activities. The children wo help may be our own.
