Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Finch and family were guests at the Walter Kerksiek home recently. Mr. Finch was a Seminary Instructor here a few years ago and is now making his home in Las Vegas and teaching there. Rue Swindlhurst, who has been confined to his home for the past month, is now able to be around but is still taking it easy for a while before resuming his work. Mrs. Cora Lindsay and her granddaughters, Nannette and MURDOCK'S AG MARKET Becky Smith, accompanied Robinson to California Sunday for a short visit and to attend Mrs. Lindsay's niece's wedding. Bishop Howard Bradshaw and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Yardley enjoyed visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Carter in Cedar City Saturday. The group enjoyed a steak dinner at Milt's in the canyon and saw the show "My Fair Lady" before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Elmer of Payson were Beaver visitors and Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Griffiths left Friday for Salt Lake to join a tour of Hawaii. They will visit three other island on their two weeks trip. Mr. and Mrs. Collis Hunting ton had, as their guests, Bart Broadwell of Bakersville, Cal.. and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mason of Los Angeles. The Hunting-ton- s also had other visitors. They were Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Hansen of Ogden, Mr. Ray Hutchings of Provo, and Mr. Leonard Muir of and Mrs. ' Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Dave R. Pearce are back in their home after mending the winter in Hurri cane. Their son David and his wife of Snowflake, Arizona were guests recently at their home. Mr. and Mrs Marvin Walker of Salt Lake have been visiting their parents, Mr. and Mis. Jim Williams anj Mr. and Mrs Jasper Walker. They brought Dean Williams home with them after a two weeks vacation in Salt Lake. They all enjoyed fishing in the canyon and at Reservoir while Minersville here. Dean caught his limit on Saturday. Miss Carol Williams returned with the Walkers for a two weeks vacation in Salt Lake City. Bob Murdock returned home from the Valley View Medical Center after he was injured in a gun accident. He is recuperating at his home and doing as well as can be expected Miss Batty Hofheins spent a week in Los Bonos, Calif-visitiMr. and Mrs. Clauds Alsup. Mrs. Dcrn Osborn is recuperating in th3 Milford Hospital afler major surgery. Miss Sylvia Yardl-- y left for in Jackson Hole, Wyoming this week. Mr. and Mrs. Burton Myers made a business trip to Salt Lake recently. Mr. and Mrs. Ike Baldwin and family are vacationing in Montana and other places of interest. Mr. and Mrs. Mel Heslington recently attended the wedding and open house for their son Jack and Maxine Bartschi of Naunan, Idaho. The wedding took place in Sandy on June 4th. The new Mrs. Heslington was a June graduate of the University of Utah. Mrs. Eudora Yardley is enjoying a vacation in Idaho with her grandparents and other family members. Mrs. Martin Smith returned home from the Valley View Medical Center after spending some time there for an illness. She will leave for Salt Lake this week-en- d for further medi cal treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Palmer and two children were guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Reynolds, on their way to Carvalis, Oregon. The two cmidren stayed with their grandparents while they were gone. Mr. Palmer will soon attend the University of Oregon at Corvalis to continue hi education. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Plumb (LaNore) left their two older children for a short vacation while their parents were on a trip to the north-wes- t. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Roynolds were happy to receive word of a new grandson. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Tom (Kathleen) Pearce of Provo, the baby boy weighed in at 7 lbs and will be named Terry. The grandparents visited with the Pearces on Sunday in Provo. Mrs. Winnie Puffer rode to Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Ern Myers last Friday and visited with her sister, Mrs. Linda Munford, and family. They are all fine and wish to be remembered to their friends in Beaver. Shepherd and family. She returned home with her grandson, Carl Parkinson. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Terry have returned home after a camping trip in the Beaver Mountains. Mrs. Elaine Swindlehurst & two children have been visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Blackner. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Briggs and family of Salt Lake are visiting at the home of Mr. anj Mrs. Gilbert Briggs and at Greenville with Nettie Ford-haand other family members Mrs. Josie Skinner has her son and family from California visiting her for a few days before they go on to Salt Lake for a visit with other relatives Mr. Roy Rummler was a visitor at the William Firmage home recently.
