It will save a lot of troubles later, points out County Extension Agent Grant Esplin. He notes that some of the best available information on plumbing in new construction or in adding or remodeling a plumbing system in an existing building is presented in a new bulletin prepared by agricultural engineers of the USDA's Agricultural Research Service. This bulletin gives information on kinds and jsiies of pipe to use in certain locations, protection of water pipes from freezing, water supply and pressure. It also indicates location of appliances, fixtures & faucets in the water distribution system. It advises on layout of the drainage system, including height and location of floor sinks and lavatories, drains, shower stalls, and suggests measures to prevent sewage and sewage gases from escaping from the system. The publication indicates that you should have your plumbing system installed by or under the direction of an experienced, licensed person. It emphasizes also that such plumbing be done in accordance with applicable state, county and local plumbing FB-221- 3, - THE BEAVER (Utah) PRESS THURSDAY, JUNE 16, 1966 La-V- and Mildred and family, Gerald and Mildred Vickers and son, Evan.
