Mrs. Niel-so- n was the sister of Clifford Baker, who's letter we published last week. She died Wednesday, Feb. 24th and was buri:d Saturday, Feb. 27th. Mrs. Nielson was 86 years old. Fr!., Mar. 10, 11, 12 Twenty-fou- r students, the teacher Mr. Nielson, and the bus driver ,and his wife, left for Salt Lake City at 7:00 a.m. Monday morning. We arrived just before noon and were taken to the Utah Power and Light Co. plant. We toured most of the plant and our dinner, furnished by the was enjoyed Company, by everyone. After leaving the power plant, we traveled to the State Capitol Building. We were met by a guide who told us a little about the building itself land took us on a tour of the Supreme Court chambers. Next, we were taken into the gallery of the House of Representatives, where we were introduced to the representatives by Representative Jack Mahoney. We were also taken to the Senate gallery and introduced to the Sanators. It was a most interesting experience to Mta6T Newest Arrivals The monthly meeting of the B & M Athletic Club will b held next Monday night, March 8th at 7.30 p.m. at Beaver High School. The public is cordially invited to attend these meetings. The program will have the Beaver-Millar- d basketball game at Millard, the BYU-SanClara game at Provo and a Utah State game film showing the late Wayne Estes. Come and join! You can get a membership card from McKay Farrer, club secretary or John Riley, club president.. ta Mrs. Flora Edwards was feeling very proud over the arrival of a little Miss born in Ankara, Turkey, to Lt. and Mrs. Russell Sly.. The baby weighed in at 6 pounds and 13 ounces. She has a brother, Jeff, waiting at home for her. This is Flora's second Mr. and Mrs. Thurland Sly of Milford are the grandparents. great-grandchil- d. When we came out of the legislature we had a little time on our hands so we dicided to tour more of the capitol building. At approximately 6:00 p.m. we started for home. On the way out of Salt Lake we stopped for supper. We arrived in Beaver (and what a beautiful sight it was) at 11:30 p.m. The trip was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Thsre are many hilarious sequences such as a death "defying try-oof a rocket fast motor car through tha Washington traffic and a knock down brawl in a night club. All of these scenes are very well handled by the talents of Fred McMurray and the able Eli Wallach.
