Those taking part were Ruth Bradshaw, Rodney Nelson and Jess Edwards. The congregation sang Christ mas songs. The Stake Sunday School officers were there, Bros Ira Yardley, LeRoy Harris Gilbert Yardley and Richard Joseph. Elder Dennis Lowe who recently returned from a mission at the Great Lakes Mission was guest at Sacrament meeting. Song by Colleen, Kim and Angela Baldwin. Vorheis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Walker, Milford, Utah, com- pleted an eight-wee- k officer or- ientation course for members of the Army Nurse Corps at the Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Tex., Dec. 18. During the course Lieutenant Vorheis received instruction in performing medical services under combat and disaster conditions. The lieutenant was graduated from Milford High School in 1959 and received her bachelor of science degree !n nursing from the University of Utah in 1964. A Christmas program was Sunday morning by the Junior and Senior Sunday School of the Third Ward. ' Songs were given by the Jr. Sunday School. Talks were given by S. Taylor Farnsworth, Heber Gurr and Howard Brad-shaA retold story by Blanch Taggaret. Christmas Hymns were sung by the congregation. CLUB PARTY A turkey dinner was served Friday evening for the Pinochle Club and their husbands. A program was presented by the V.8 girls. Raymond Davis sang a solo. A pantomime was given by Verl Packard and Steve Bow-den. After the dinner everyone danced to the guitar music of David Robinson and Weldo George. White elephant presents were exchanged and were the source of much fun. Party full afternoon of entertain- ment was enjoyed by the ladies of the Third Ward Relief Society on Tuesday afternoon with Jessie Ward Conducting. Wtigons with bails of hay for seats were provided by the committee. Much fun was had by all who participated. Bonnie Yardley played a flute double trio was presented by the ladies of the ward. Closing prayer was by Kathleen Farnsworth. A lovely Christmas luncheon was served. Tables were beautifully decorated in the Christmas theme by Pauline Woodhouse and others. Presents were GIU.vGS I 3. "The The meeting was conducted by Bishop Paul Nielson. Prayers were offered by Chase Murdock and Rex Carter. The opening song " I Know That My Redeemer Lives" was directed by Nell Smith with Clara Carter at the organ. After Sacrament service the time was turned to Kate Joseph, Roberta Stoker, Clara Carter and Peggy Ruesch for the presentation of the Christmas Cantata by the Ward Choir and the Singing Mothers.
