The project J- 1 . -.., 1 - Become Mrs. Gary Franke Chamberlain Mr. and Mrs. Chase H. Murdock announce the engagement and forthcoming marraige of their daughter, Judith, to Mr. Gary Franke Chamberlain, son Chamof Mr. and Mrs. Ralph-Wberlain of 1168 South 8th West Salt Lake City, Utah. The couple will be married August 15th in the Salt Lake Temple and a garden reception in their honor will be held that evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. Leland Davey at 1200 South 8th West. The newlyweds will be honored at a second reception on August 16th at the Beaver First-Thir- d Ward Church. Judy is a graduate of the Beaver High School where she was yearbook editor and honor thespian. She was an honor student and received a tuition scholarship to U. S. U. and the Carl R. Gray Railroad scholarwork. She attended ship in Club Congress the national in Chicago. She was a member of the Band and Pep Club and a graduate of the LDS Seminary. She was selected Beaver County Dairy Pricess in 1960. While attending USU, Judy served on the Associated Women Students Committees and received the Aggie Award for activities and scholarship. She was a member of Spurs and on the Buzzer staff for 3 years, two of which she served as division editor. A new chapter of the sorority Alpha Omicon Pi, was formed at USU and Judy served as its . 4-- H 4-- that is being Mr. and Mrs. Kent Terry and their five girls visited with relatives here and in Beaver during the week. Mrs. Terry is the former JoAnn Davis, daughter of Mrs. Eulalia Davis. Saturday night a family dinner was held in Milford at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Horton. Guests in attendance were Mrs. Eulalia Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Kent T.rry and family, Mr. and Mrs Bill Davis and family. first president. She also attended Merrill Palmer Institute in Detroit, Michigan. Judy graduated from USU with two complete majors; one in Family Life and Child Development, and one in Elementary Education. She has been awarded a graduate assistantship from Ohio State University at Columbus for 1963-6Mr. Chamberlain has attended the University of Utah and will continue his studies there. Steven Gillins and Roger Mar shall celebrated their fourth birthday July 22nd with a party at the Merle GiUins home. It was a very happy occassion for these two boys. Many of their friends attended. So far, they haven't decided on a name for the new one. A baby boy was born July 18 to Mr. and Mrs. Don Charles at the Cedar City hospital Mrs. Charles is the former Clara Woods. The name they have picked is Soot W. Charles. He has a sister Lisa. On Saturday, Don brought Clara and the baby to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Woods where they wiU visit a short while. Don then left for Henderson, Nevada, wher ha it employed. |
