Show SALT LAKE TO HOST NATIONAL DEMOS On June 3 the Democratic National Na-tional Committee will hold an advance ad-vance platform hearing in Salt Lake City. This is one of the aeries of hearings being held by the committee com-mittee in all the major sections of this country to allow as many individual in-dividual citizen and representatives representa-tives of voluntary organizations as possible to participate in drafting of the Democratic national platform, plat-form, which will be ultimately adopted adop-ted by the Democratic national convention in Los Angeles. According to a joint announcement announce-ment by Cal Rawlings, Democratic national committeeman, U.S. Sen. Frank E. Moss (D-Utah), and Congressman Con-gressman David S. King (D Utah), Education and Science will be the main issues highlighted at the Salt Lake hearing, but testimony will by no means be limited to these issues, and all interested persons are invited to testify on any subject sub-ject that they feel may be of national na-tional interest. This type of advance platform hearing is unprecedented in national na-tional political history, and is being be-ing done to emphasize to the general gen-eral public the great importance we are going to attach to -the issues in the coming campaign, National Chairman Paul Butler said in announcing the program, and will give the people a voice in draft ing the national platform. This meeting, which is scheduled schedul-ed at the Newhouse Hotel, will begin be-gin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and include in-clude a morning, afternoon and evening session.
