Each year bases generally undergo either an external inspection conducted by personnel outside the inspected installation or an internal inspection involving designated inspectors from within the installation. Besides the base, other locations managed by Hill that got a good look from the inspectors included the Utah Test and Training Range, Pinedale, Wyo., Little Mountain and Carter Creek.
